Nontraditional Wedding in Seward, Alaska

Oh man, I absolutely loved every bit of Natalie and Zackary’s nontraditional wedding in Seward, Alaska! From the moment I met them, I could tell that they were head-over-heels in love with each other. They were all about having an intimate vibe and it was just so perfect for them. We had so much fun hanging out and getting to know each other better. And can we talk about the location?! It was straight-up stunning! There were breathtaking views of mountains in the distance and crashing waves. What more could you ask for? I seriously felt like the luckiest photographer ever that they chose me to capture their special day. Natalie and Zackary’s love for each other was such a joy to experience and capture through my lens! Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and it was so exciting to have been a part it.

Eloping With Stunning Alaska Scenery

Natalie and Zackary had always known that a big wedding just wasn’t their style. As private people, they preferred to keep their special day within their core group of loved ones. So, when it came time to tie the knot, they both agreed that eloping was the perfect choice for them. Their dream spot to elope has always been Alaska, surrounded by nothing but the the beauty of nature. I mean, who wouldn’t want to say “I do” in the presence of gorgeous scenery? However, they also knew that they wanted to capture all their special moments to cherish forever. So, they hired a photographer (AKA me!) to document their elopement. With those photos, Natalie and Zackary can relive their epic day whenever they want! Let me tell you, I seriously love documenting couples’ love stories — all the candid moments in between are the best!

A Magical Nontraditional Wedding Experience

Natalie and Zackary’s big day was nothing short of magical thanks to Madison, who is the elopement coordinator and owner of Alaska Wild Hearts Events. Seward, Alaska’s weather is notoriously moody, including overcast conditions and rain. Despite this, Madison made everything perfect for their special day. The gorgeous backdrop of nature made for some stunning photos! The mountains meet the sea so perfectly, bringing in a level of calm and relaxation to everything that is hard to describe. Also, Natalie was totally slaying in her 20s-inspired glam, and her smile was brighter than the sun! To end the day, we all stuffed our faces with tacos and popped some champagne to make a toast. It was an absolute blast, and I just know we’ll remember it for the rest of our lives. Seriously, Madison knocked it out of the park!
