Homer in Alaska turned out to be the perfect spot for Mercedes and Justin’s coastal wedding. Seriously, this place had it all – from the most stunning beach views to the enchanting forest vibes, it was a photographer’s dream come true. Also, let me tell you, hanging out with this couple was so much fun. Getting to know them made me appreciate their infectious energy even more. I mean, it brought me so much joy to watch all the love and romance between these two! Every single moment of their special day was beautiful in its own unique way. I feel beyond honored to have been a part of this incredible celebration. Mercedes and Justin’s wedding was an absolute whirlwind of joy and love, and I’m so excited to have been there to help preserve the memories through my photography.

Mercedes and Justin are an adventurous couple who share a love for all things nerdy. Their passion for Star Wars brought them together one night at a local bar, where Mercedes was wearing a Star Wars shirt. Justin, unable to resist striking up a conversation with this fellow enthusiast, approached her and initiated a conversation about the saga. The rest is history! From that moment on, their connection grew stronger every day. When they’re not immersed in their nerdy pursuits, Mercedes and Justin are participating in their shared love for commercial fishing in Homer, Alaska. They have so much excitement for the ocean, and they constantly find themselves upgrading their boat to improve their fishing experience. As they gear up for the summer, they prepare to spend countless days on the open water, having the time of their lives.

The entire wedding day was exactly what Justin and Mercedes had dreamed of! It was so much fun from start to finish. I mean, every little detail was on point! The stunning elements left everyone in awe, from the vibrant colors of the bridesmaids’ dresses to the delicate details of the floral arrangements. However, you know what was the icing on the cake? The bride and groom photos we got to take! Picture this: the ocean waves crashing, mountains in the background, and the two of them looking totally in love. It was pure magic! Now, although the weather was overcast and rainy, Justin and Mercedes didn’t let that spoil their fun. They embraced it and had the time of their lives! They were so in love, and you can definitely see it through these photos.
