Summer Alaska Wedding | Anchorage Wedding Photographer

Pete & Victoria had their Summer Alaska wedding in July last year! They had a beautiful ceremony indoors at the most beautiful chapel with all their friends and family. They chose the traditional route of seeing each other for the first time at the alter, which is always a meaningful moment.

After they said “I do”, we met up outside for their gorgeous wedding party photos with the foggy Summer Alaska background behind them. I will never get over how freakin’ gorgeous the scenery is here.

We spent golden hour taking photos of Pete & Victoria with the mountains in the background. I love the couples portrait portion of the day at my weddings because it’s this sweet, quiet moment between the newlyweds where it starts to sink in “Holy cow - we’re married!!” Getting to witness that joy, and capture those moments is simply the best.

These two wrapped up their Summer Alaska wedding with a PARTY at their reception. They had a great DJ, and an open dance floor with lights for their guests. The paused to cut the cake, but then everyone got back to dancing. I love when weddings feel like true celebrations.
