Ugh, I just love this wedding so so much! Maggie and Kolton hired me last year to document their intimate wedding in the summer. They chose a stunning location for their special day — Girdwood, Alaska. The views of the towering forest trees and snow-capped mountains were absolutely gorgeous. Everything felt like it was a scene straight out of a fairytale! Being a part of their love story against the breathtaking backdrop of Girdwood was truly an honor. Overall, Maggie and Kolton’s love, the natural surrounding beauty, and the warmth of their celebration made the entire day a beautiful experience.

I made sure to document the entire day for Maggie and Kolton — just like Maggie wanted. Her dream for her wedding in the summer was to experience everything without feeling rushed or pressured. Maggie and Kolton took in each precious moment while spending time with their family in the stunning rooftop Airbnb they rented in Girdwood. Also, they got to focus on being present with their guests during the wedding while I captured each memory for them. All in all, the heartfelt moments and unhurried pace of the day made it a wedding they would cherish forever.

Maggie and Kolton, surrounded by the breathtaking beauty of the mountains that they love so much, celebrated their love in a special way. Their close friend and his wife had the honor of officiating their wedding. It was a ceremony filled with warmth and authenticity, reflecting the deep bond Maggie and Kolton share. After exchanging vows, we took a quick trip to the local brewery, where laughter filled the air. Next, we headed off for more portraits in the blustery coast. Throughout the day, I felt like a member of the family and I loved getting to connect with Maggie and Kolton.
