Man, I am SO excited to feature this wedding (and their day-after llama session !!) on the blog. These two were married outside on a Summer Alaska day under beautiful blue skies.
They were surrounded by their closest friends and family as they said I do in a lush green field. They took a few quick group portraits and then we wandered around nearby flower fields for their couples portraits. While I love shooting during golden hour as an Alaska wedding photographer, I ALSO love shooting midday because it allows me to create artistic portraits for the bride and groom using different lighting.
These two are the happiest & most laid back couple ever. I truly enjoyed our couples portrait time on their Summer Alaska wedding day, but also loved seeing them enter their wedding reception & join their friends and family because the celebration was REAL!
After they cut the cake and had their first dance, they enjoyed a dance party with their friends & family! Afterwards they left to a midday bubble exit in a field, which was literally the perfect end to this Summer dream wedding in Anchorage.
BUT WAIT. The best is yet to come!
The next day I met up with them for a day-after Llama Session!!
What is a day-after llama session you ask? You will have to scroll to the bottom to see. You don’t wanna miss these, I promise!
To the bride & groom: I loved shooting your images and hope you cherish them forever! Thanks for choosing me to be your Alaska wedding photographer!
