A ROMANTIC RAINY WEDDING DAY IN PALMER, ALASKA

Man oh man, Delaney and Pasha’s rainy wedding day in Palmer, Alaska was WILD! The weather was absolutely stormy, making the entire day an unpredictable adventure. I have never seen such awful weather in my life! Despite the chaos, Delaney and Pasha were able to have a fun and dreamy wedding at Mountain Field Farm. This venue had a renovated colonial homesteading barn with a gorgeous interior, greenhouses with colorful flowers, and beautiful green fields. Overall, Delaney and Pasha were such troopers through it all. They focused solely on the love they share and the memories of becoming one.

WILD WEATHER AT DELANEY AND PASHA’S RAINY WEDDING DAY

Delaney and Pasha’s wedding started off in a full-blown monsoon! There was torrential downpour and hurricane winds. Having wind or rain is one thing, but the combination of both was terrible! Nevertheless, we made the best of it by capturing photos in the stunning barn while we waited for the weather to let up a little bit. We kept watch on the radar and pushed things back 20 minutes here or there since the storm was supposed to subside. However, every time we thought the weather improved, we would go outside and it would get ten times worse! We ended up pivoting to photographing portraits in the greenhouses and documenting the ceremony in a tent. Right after the ceremony, the weather luckily cleared and we frolicked in the gorgeous fields. All in all, Delaney and Pasha’s rainy wedding day turned out beautiful.
