BEAUTIFUL COUPLES PHOTOSHOOT IN ALASKA | MADELYNN & STEPHEN’S ANNIVERSARY

Last summer, I captured a beautiful couples photoshoot in Alaska for Madelynn and Stephen’s wedding anniversary. As the sun was setting behind the mountains in the distance, I was able to document the love they have for each other while they were living in the moment. I have actually had the privilege of photographing Madelynn and Stephen from the get go! I was there for their proposal and wedding, and every year around their anniversary I’m invited back! Overall, their sessions are always so special to me. I try my best to capture the emotions surrounding their life at the time.

I’m so grateful that I get to tell Madelynn and Stephen’s story each year. A year after they were married, Stephen was diagnosed with cancer, and I captured their anniversary session the day before he started treatment. During year 2, he was in remission and getting healthy again. For year 3, we did a session in their new home, which was so much fun! For this year, I photographed their story of waiting for the adoption of a baby! Getting to watch their journey has been such an honor. I seriously can’t wait for the next time I get to document their couples photoshoot!
