Katie and Ryan’s intimate wedding in Homer, Alaska was straight out of a fairytale! I was so excited for their big day because it was my first wedding of the season. Plus, it was the first one I shot film for too as a film photographer! I even got to hang out in the Alaskan wilderness with their 3 doggos! Overall, their celebration was a beautiful testament to their love, with a small and short ceremony that perfectly reflected their simple and laid-back nature. The stunning beach views of Homer added so much beauty to their photos — I was obsessed!

Homer, Alaska was the perfect location for Katie and Ryan’s beach wedding, especially since they love it so much! When it came to tying the knot, they knew they didn’t want a lot of fuss surrounding it. So, they decided to keep things intimate, inviting only their closest family and friends for their special day. Katie and Ryan got married at low tide, which quickly turned into high tide, so we had to outrun it by the end LOL! Capturing precious moments like these through film is one of the many reasons why I love being a film photographer. It creates such beautifully nostalgic photos that you can look back on forever!
