Tennessee Wedding | Alaska Wedding Photographer

Take a trip with me this stunning Tennessee Wedding! I first connected with Nick & Neeka when they vacationed in Alaska the summer of 2020, and I actually photographed their surprise engagement in Hatcher Pass a few years ago. How much fun to come full circle!

They originally asked me to photograph their wedding in Chicago, but with pandemic restrictions amping up they decided to elope with only their family and best friends in a place that puts them both at ease — Tennessee. This gorgeous outdoor ceremony took place at Twin Falls at Rock Island State Park. I mean, can you imagine a more romantic waterfall background?!

And after the ceremony we hit the perfect golden evening light for portraits of the bride and groom and little bit of fun with colorful smoke cannons! Not only do they make for some great shots, but let me tell you guests have so much FUN playing around with the smoke! Immediate party!

I absolutely LOVED shooting this Tennessee Wedding, and low key fell in love with the State while I was there. Be sure to scroll down and catch the final stop of the night post-reception at Cookeville Manor… hint — it may just be a house of waffles!
