Snowy Fall Wedding | Alaska Wedding Photographer

Feast your eyes on this gorgeous Snowy Fall Wedding! Scheduled in October, the bride and groom anticipated enjoying the warm colors of autumn during their ceremony, with bridesmaids and bouquets varying in shades of orange, maroon, and dusty rose. Mother Nature had other plans though, and it snowed unexpectedly the day before their wedding. Best laid plans, right?? LOL.

But I think you’ll have to agree that the snowy background did nothing to ruin the day. If anything, the warm autumn colors of all the wedding details looked SO cozy against the white canvas! We had two beautiful outdoor locations for portraits of the bride and groom. The First Look was at the beach on the Homer Spit, and the ceremony was AK Diamond J Ranch in Homer. Scroll down to see just how gorgeous the photos at each location turned out!

As an Alaska wedding photographer, I’ve come to terms with the fact that weather can be unexpected — and I’ve learned how to adapt and get the best shots for your special day no matter what happens! This snowy fall wedding is an aesthetic I can’t get enough of! Let me know if you agree in the comments (and get more snowy wedding inspiration here!)!
